About this opportunity
Reach Oxford is a small, very competitive award for students from lower-income countries who could not otherwise fund an undergraduate degree at the University of Oxford. Cameroon appears by name on the eligible country list.
The award pays course fees, gives a grant for living costs, and covers one return flight a year for the three or four years of the course.
Only two or three scholarships are given each year, and preference goes to applicants who have not already studied at undergraduate level.
The order of steps is what catches people out. You must first apply for admission to Oxford in the normal way, through UCAS, and be in the running for a place - the scholarship is only considered afterwards. Oxford's undergraduate admissions deadline falls in mid-October, months before the scholarship deadline, so treat 26 January as the second of two deadlines, not the first. Check the UCAS date for 2027 entry now.
Selection happens in April 2027 and all applicants are told the outcome by the end of May 2027.
Oxford publishes the full instructions for 2027 entry on the same page in January 2027, so check back then for the exact application route.
